Has anyone else looked into Michael Whitten’s circle of acquaintances around the time of his death? I can't help but wonder if there might be someone who knew more than they let on. Given that the area was so secluded, it seems likely that the person responsible was familiar with the terrain. My heart goes out to Michael's family—it's unimaginable not having answers all these years. Could it be possible that someone he knew had local knowledge and was able to lure him there? Or perhaps he was picked up while hitchhiking and taken there against his will? It’s so frustrating to think how close the cases were in proximity. If anyone has any info or theories, please share—perhaps we can piece something together and help the authorities finally close this case.
