I've been following the case of Jacinda Oakgrove, and my heart goes out to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. I've been thinking about the scene at that encampment. It must have been terrifying for everyone involved. Gunfire erupted out of nowhere, and it’s chilling to imagine how quickly chaos unfolded. Seven people injured in one incident... it’s hard to wrap my head around it. I'm especially concerned about the community around East Lake Street and how they might be coping with such a traumatic event. It really makes you wonder about the climate there. What do you all think could be done in terms of community support or prevention moving forward? It feels important to discuss solutions as much as it is to seek justice for Jacinda.
