I’ve been following the case of Anthony Hasley, or "Slim" as those close to him knew him, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the courage and determination of his family. Losing someone so loved in such a senseless act of violence is devastating, yet his family has remained steadfast in their calls for justice. I’ve read about his mom, Rose Marie, standing on that very block, urging anyone who might know something to come forward. It’s baffling how, even in broad daylight and in a residential neighborhood, no arrests have been made yet. Have any locals noticed increased police presence or any updates from the press recently? It’s times like these that make you wish communities were more like families, ready to step up and protect their own. Sending strength to Slim’s loved ones as they navigate this dark time.
