Has anyone else thought about the increasing violence in central Fresno around the time Nico was killed? It's so disturbing to think a young kid like him couldn't even feel safe in his own neighborhood. My heart truly goes out to his family, especially knowing that he was able to come home and speak to them before losing consciousness. That brief moment with them must be both a treasure and a haunting memory. It makes you wonder what more could have been done to prevent such a tragedy in a community that was already facing so much turmoil. I hope they find the answers they need for justice and a bit of peace.
