I've been thinking a lot about the logistics of how Cathryn could have been abducted in such a seemingly familiar area. It's hard to grasp how someone could pull this off without being noticed. Chaparral High School and its vicinity must have had some foot traffic, even back in the '80s. Could someone local have been involved, someone who knew the routine spots and blind spots well enough to avoid detection? It's also unsettling to consider if Cathryn was potentially targeted or followed for some time leading up to that day. My heart goes out to her family and friends, who have had to live with so many questions and no answers for decades. I really hope that one day, evidence surfaces or someone with information comes forward. Stay strong to all those connected to Cathryn. ❤️

I stumbled upon Cathryn Tighe’s case recently, and it's been weighing heavy on my mind. It's terrifying to think about how she vanished so quickly without any leads or witnesses. I can't imagine what her family went through—one minute she was planning to meet up with a friend, and then her world, and theirs, turned upside down.
Cathryn’s case is particularly haunting because of how little evidence there seemed to be—it's like she disappeared in broad daylight. So many years have passed, and still, we don’t have answers. Linking her case to those notorious serial killers at the time certainly adds an unsettling layer, but nearly 40 years later, we're still in the dark.
I'm really hoping that with the continued advancements in DNA technology, maybe we'll finally get some answers. Cathryn and her family deserve justice, and it's time that her killer is brought to light. Does anyone have insights on any renewed investigations or efforts? I’d love to hear thoughts or updates if anyone has them.
