Hi everyone, I've been following the Darnell Causey case closely and wanted to share a bit of what I've learned about the area where this tragic event unfolded. The intersection of Royal and Iberville is such an iconic part of the French Quarter. I've walked down those streets many times and, like others, enjoyed the vibrant music and energy. It's disturbing to think that a place so full of life could be the setting for something so devastating. I read that detectives are using surveillance footage from businesses around that block to piece together the moments leading up to the shooting. It's promising that technology might help bring justice, but it's so disheartening that it’s needed in the first place. As someone who loves New Orleans for its culture and history, it’s tough to reconcile the beauty of the city with the violence that sometimes shadows it. Hoping for closure soon for Darnell’s family and friends. They deserve answers and peace. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I've been following Darnell Causey's case, and there's something that's been bothering me about the timeline of that tragic night in the French Quarter. Has anyone else noticed the gap between when Darnell and his girlfriend were reportedly seen on surveillance footage with Michael Hall trailing them and when the police actually responded to the scene? I read they got the call at 3:12 a.m., but if Hall was following them earlier, what happened in those minutes? Could there have been a chance for intervention? It's haunting to think about how things might have gone differently if someone had noticed or called for help sooner. My heart goes out to Darnell’s loved ones, who must be grappling with these questions every day. If anyone has info or theories, let's discuss. We need to keep this case in the spotlight to ensure justice is served. Stay safe, everyone.
