I can't stop thinking about the neighbors on Kingswood Way who must be struggling with the shock and fear after the tragedy that unfolded right there in their midst. It's terrifying to imagine such violence striking in a place you consider home. I've read that several people were inside the house when it all happened, which makes it even scarier. I can't imagine the trauma they must be dealing with after witnessing such a horrific event. It makes me wonder about the support they’re receiving—both from the community and mental health professionals—to help them process this nightmare. Living so close to an unspeakable crime must change everything. My heart goes out to Sontia and Amia's families, but I also hope that those who were there that night and the entire neighborhood get the help and support they need. How do people begin to move on after such a traumatic experience?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the little details that often get overlooked in these tragic events, like the impact on the community where everything happened. I used to live near Shively, and it's such a quiet area—you'd never imagine something like this would happen there. It's incredibly unsettling to know that other people were inside the house when Sontia and Amia were killed. I can't even imagine the trauma they must be going through, knowing that their lives were in danger too. I hope they’re getting the support they need. It's upsetting to see how domestic relationships can take such a horrific turn so unpredictably. Peace to Sontia and Amia, and strength to all those who are grieving their loss.
