I just can't wrap my head around how something like this keeps happening. I didn't know Gerald personally, but seeing someone so young and full of potential have their life cut short is just devastating. It’s like another reminder of how senseless gun violence is in our communities. I’ve read that he was found on Mexico Street, and it's a little chilling because I often drive by there on my way to work. What really gets me is imagining his family getting that call. No parent should ever have to go through this. I keep hoping for some justice to be served, but it seems like the authorities haven’t gotten much to go on yet. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail, please consider reaching out to the police. This is someone’s son, brother, maybe even a boyfriend. Keeping my thoughts with his loved ones and hoping for some answers soon.
