Does anyone else find it strange that Dana and Mary were found with groceries scattered around them? I'm no detective, but it seems so personal to ambush someone the moment they get home, as if the murderer was lying in wait. It's chilling to think how vulnerable we all are at those everyday moments when we naturally let our guard down. I've read that Dana may have had some heated disagreements with his former business partner, Tim Stonestreet, but would someone really go this far over a business dispute? It saddens me to think that they probably just wanted to enjoy their evening after picking up some groceries, maybe to have dinner together. I sincerely hope new leads emerge so their families finally get some answers; they deserve justice and closure after all this time.
Has anyone else looked into the timing of MacKay and Huffman's grocery trip on the day they were found? It seems strange that they had just returned home and were suddenly attacked. Were they followed from the store, or did someone know their routine well enough to be waiting for them? I'm curious if the police ever checked surveillance from local grocery stores. Also, if someone was watching them, they would have had to be quite familiar with when Dana and Mary typically did their shopping.
This case is so tragic—Dana was a vibrant part of the Las Vegas community, not just through his Elvis act but also his genuine spirit. I hope his friends and family find some peace eventually. It's disheartening to see a case with so many loose threads still unsolved. What do you all think about the possible connection between their deaths and the business disputes? Could it really have just been a coincidence, or is it more sinister?
I can't help but think about the timing of the business dispute between Dana MacKay and Tim Stonestreet. It seems too coincidental that such a heated argument over their business would occur just months before this tragic event. Could this have been a motive? I feel for their families who have had to live with unanswered questions for so long. I also wonder what was so important about that missing business records folder. Was there something in those papers that someone wanted to keep hidden? It's so frustrating that no arrests have been made after all these years. I hope the truth comes out someday for the sake of everyone who loved Dana and Mary.
