Has anyone else been thinking about the details surrounding the standoff after Eric was shot? It seems so intense that the suspect barricaded themselves in a nearby apartment. I can’t imagine what Eric's family must be going through, dealing with the tragedy itself and then the uncertainty of how exactly it all went down. The fact that the suspect eventually surrendered without the police releasing their name right away makes me wonder what was happening inside that apartment during the standoff. It's tough to not have all the answers, and I hope more information comes to light soon. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on whether more charges have been filed, or if the suspect's identity has been made public yet? My heart goes out to Eric’s loved ones and all the folks in that community who are grappling with this loss.
