I’ve been thinking a lot about Kristina Marie Ortiz and the impact on her five-year-old son. It’s devastating to imagine a child losing their mother so suddenly, especially during a celebration that was supposed to be filled with joy and laughter. The thought of that little boy being there, surrounded by chaos, is something that weighs heavily on my mind. Given that Kristina wasn’t the intended target, it’s infuriating to think about the senselessness of it all. I hope the witnesses who were there find the courage to speak up, for her and her son. They deserve justice, and as a community, we need to rally together to support her family through this incredibly difficult time. I truly hope that those responsible are held accountable and that little boy can find some semblance of peace in the future. It’s a tough road, but with community support, I believe they can find strength in this darkness.
