Hey folks, I’ve been following the case of Ashley June Lanham, who was tragically shot in downtown Louisville. It's been a tough one to wrap my head around, especially since there seems to be so little information on what actually led to this unimaginable act.
I came across some reports mentioning the appeal for surveillance footage and dashcam recordings from the area. I want to emphasize how crucial this call is. In similar cases I've followed, even the tiniest detail caught on camera has sometimes cracked a case wide open. The intersection where it happened is always bustling, especially around Labor Day—so it seems possible that someone, somewhere, has a piece of the puzzle without even realizing it.
It pains me to think about what Ashley's family must be going through right now, trying to piece their lives back together without answers. It’s such a difficult time for them, and I'm hoping with everything that someone, anyone with a dashcam might take a second look at their footage from that night and come forward. Sharing a small detail could really make a huge difference, bringing not just justice for Ashley but some level of peace to her loved ones. Keeping them in my thoughts.
Take care, everyone.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage request from the Louisville Metro Police. With all the businesses and traffic around South Brook Street and Broadway, surely there’s got to be someone out there who caught something on camera, even if it's just a small detail. Maybe someone hasn’t come forward because they don’t realize the significance of what they might have. It boggles the mind how in this digital age, these clues can just remain hidden. It's a stark reminder of how vital community participation is in these investigations. My heart goes out to Ashley's family, standing strong and advocating for change despite the immense pain they must be enduring. If anyone reading this was nearby that night or knows somebody who was—please check your footage or conversations with friends. Who knows what piece of the puzzle you might hold?
