I've been thinking a lot about the neighbors on New Hope Road since McKinley Hodges was tragically killed. It’s got to be incredibly unsettling to live so close to a scene like that. Imagine waking up to the sound of sirens and the realization that something awful happened just a few doors down. I hope they aren't too overwhelmed and can find a way to feel safe in their homes again. I’m also curious about the surveillance footage that was mentioned. I wonder how much it might reveal about what went on that morning. With so many unsolved details, I hope the footage can help the police piece together the events leading up to the shooting. It's just so frustrating when violence overshadows what is otherwise a quiet community. Sending all the good thoughts to everyone affected.
