Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role of bystanders in Courtney Lashaw Haynes' case. It's really haunting to imagine just how many people were potentially around that evening. It was a family gathering, after all, and from what I understand, there were small children present too. This makes me wonder just how much was seen or heard by those who might have been too scared to come forward. The fact that this happened at a park, a place most of us associate with relaxation and safety, makes it even more pressing for the community to come together. We all want this to be resolved and for those responsible to be brought to justice. It's so important for everyone who was there, or nearby, to talk to the police.
