I’ve been following this case closely and it’s still so shocking and sad to think about what happened that night on Edgewood Avenue. My heart really goes out to the family of Santos J. Wyatt. I've been thinking a lot about the role of surveillance footage in catching suspects these days. It’s incredible how much of our lives end up on camera, and in instances like this, it becomes crucial in the investigation process. It seems like the images and videos that were released were key in identifying at least one suspect, but with three more people allegedly involved, it's puzzling how folks can just vanish in an urban area like that. It makes you wonder about the effectiveness of these tools and how much more needs to be done in terms of community engagement and awareness. What if there were no cameras around? It’s a grim reminder of how important these pieces of evidence can be in bringing justice for the victims and their families. I hope the rest of those involved are found soon and brought to justice. It’s hard to imagine the pain of Santos' family and everyone affected, and while nothing can truly console them, I hope the ongoing investigation brings them some comfort knowing that the community is watching and hoping for justice too.
