I've been thinking a lot about the community response in Chatham after Jeremiah's murder, and it seems like there's been an outpouring of support but also a lot of fear among residents. It's really a reminder of how fragile our sense of safety can be. I can't even imagine what Jeremiah's family is going through, but I do hope they feel some comfort from the people rallying around them.
Another thing that strikes me is the ripple effect on the neighborhood. I've read some comments from locals feeling uneasy about even walking down the street now. It sounds like a lot of community members are organizing to support each other and discuss potential safety measures. Has anyone in the area noticed any local meetings or initiatives formed in response to this tragedy? How are folks handling things on the ground?
