I came across this tragic case about Stephen Bailey, and it's been weighing on my mind ever since. My heart goes out to his loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable loss. I was reading about the police canvassing the area and collecting nearby surveillance footage, which raises some questions about the environment this happened in. South DeKalb, especially around Candler/McAfee, seems to have a lot of street cams and business surveillance. I'd be curious if anyone local knows if these cameras are usually monitored closely or if it takes something like this to make people really pay attention. It bothers me that there's been no suspect description released yet. I just hope the surveillance footage brings some answers and some justice for Stephen. Sending strength to his family and friends during this difficult time. If anyone has heard about any updates, especially from local sources, sharing might really help keep the momentum in finding who did this. Stay safe, everyone.
