Hey everyone,
Just popping in because I came across something strange while looking into the David Wayne Schroeder case. I noticed that the dogs tracked his scent along the railroad tracks for a mile. Does anyone else find it odd that the trail just stops there? My mind immediately goes to the possibility of a vehicle pick-up—maybe someone he knew? Or something else entirely?
Also, given that he left his phone and wallet behind, I'm curious if anyone recalls if that area was known for any unusual activity around that time. Maybe locals have some insights? It seems like such a sudden disappearance for someone so involved with his family and church community. Thoughts?
Let's get this conversation going and see if we can piece together anything new!
Hey everyone, I'm really curious about the scent-tracking dogs that were used in David Wayne Schroeder's case. I'm not an expert, but why would the trail go cold after just a mile? It seems strange to me. Could weather conditions or some other factor have played a role in disrupting the trail? Or could it suggest that David might've gotten into a vehicle or something similar at that point? It's just puzzling how there were no other clues after that. Would love to hear thoughts or similar cases where scent dogs hit a dead end. Thanks!
