Did anyone else notice how the investigators quickly ruled this as a murder-suicide while some details are still emerging? It's got me thinking about the relationship between Melissa and Eugene and what could have possibly led to such a terrifying encounter. It’s really important to me that we remember Melissa as more than a statistic. The fact that this wasn't labeled as domestic violence but rather a dispute among acquaintances just leaves a lot of questions open, doesn't it? Sometimes our perception of people’s relationships can be way off base. Sending strength to Melissa's family and loved ones as they grapple with this tragedy. I hope any loose ends are tied up soon so everyone can get some closure. Anyone else following this case have thoughts on how these investigative processes might evolve?
