I've been following the case of Adam Santiago, and it's truly sad to think about the fear he must have felt in those last moments. It's chilling to read that he was simply sitting on his friend's porch, trying to avoid conflict. Being so young and having just celebrated his 21st birthday makes it even more tragic. It's like he was on the brink of experiencing so many new things in life, and now he's gone. My heart goes out to his family, especially his mom, who seems to have been trying to keep things together after such an unimaginable loss. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the area around Santa Paula Way and whether there have been similar incidents in the past? I wonder if this was just an isolated event or if the neighborhood has been experiencing issues with violence. I really hope someone comes forward with information to help bring some resolution to his family. It's the least they deserve in trying to find some peace and justice for Adam.
