I've been following the investigation into what happened on Poplar Lane, and it's just so tragic. I've been thinking a lot about the neighbors and what they must be going through. Imagine having your quiet evening shattered by gunshots and then watching as your street becomes a crime scene. It's one thing to hear about something like this happening somewhere else, but when it's right next door, it must feel surreal and terrifying. I hope the neighborhood feels some sort of support from each other. Maybe they're providing comfort in small ways—checking in on one another, leaving notes or flowers outside the house. It’s these moments of community that might help them process the shock and fear. And for the family, the outpouring of love and support hopefully offers them some solace, even if it's just knowing they’re not facing it alone. If anyone local has updates or ways to contribute to the family’s support, I'd love to know about it.
