Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community impact of Zarie Williams' tragic death. It's so sad to see someone so young and full of potential have their life cut short. What's been on my mind is how this affects not only her family and friends but the community she was a part of. The Eckington neighborhood and all of DC deserve to feel safe and secure, but incidents like this shake that sense of safety. I really hope people can come together to support the Williams family and also push for more safety measures in the area. Zarie's passing reminds us of what's important and how crucial it is to work towards a community where violence like this doesn't happen. Wishing peace and healing for those close to Zarie and hoping that justice will be served soon. ?
