I can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for Oscar and the whole neighborhood that evening. Imagine being in what you believe is the safety of your own home, only to be targeted in such a brutal way. I've read that the area is generally peaceful, which makes this incident all the more shocking. Was it really a case of mistaken identity, as Futral claims, or is there something deeper going on here? It's hard to wrap my head around how someone could shoot from a distance like that and "miss" their target. I've been wondering if anyone knows about prior conflicts between these two, or if there were any warning signs from Futral's behavior before this tragedy happened. My thoughts go out to Oscar's family and everyone in the community who is trying to process this senseless act.
