Has anyone looked into the businesses near the McKinley Hotel from that time? I know it's been over 50 years, but maybe someone who used to work at a nearby cafe or bar remembers something about Charlotte that could help. It's always stuck with me how she vanished after leaving that cafe with reportedly another man or man and woman. Given the inconsistencies in Wyne’s version, it's possible she knew more people than we realize or had a connection to a frequent visitor in the area. Sometimes small details from people who served or saw folks regularly can jog memories or lead to new insights. Has there ever been a call out to anyone working within walking distance of the McKinley Hotel at that time to see if they remember Charlotte or anything unusual?

It's been decades, and I still can't wrap my head around how Charlotte's case seems to have stalled. One thing that always puzzles me is why Freeman Wyne's contradictory stories about that night weren't more aggressively investigated back then. I get that it was the '70s, and procedures were different, but it feels like a string of missed opportunities. It's incredibly frustrating to think that his accounts kept changing, yet no significant breakthroughs were made while he was still alive. I can't help but wonder if there were any witnesses at that cafe who might have remembered seeing Charlotte leave—with or without someone else. It's a long shot, but if anyone out there remembers something, even a detail that seemed insignificant back then, it could be the key to finally cracking this case. Just thoughts from my end, but hoping for some updates or new insights one day.

I've been diving into the details of Charlotte Estella Rexroad's case, and something that I find particularly curious is the role of the babysitter who watched the kids that night. It's never been clear who this person was or if they had any relevant observations from the night their mom disappeared. Did anyone ever interview them extensively, or were they just ruled out early on? I feel like any info from that night, even the smallest detail from someone who wasn't drinking, might shine more light. Anyone have thoughts on this?
