Has anyone else been looking into the area between Missoula and Hamilton where Dorothy Geneva Freeman vanished? It seems like there's so much remote terrain there, perfect for hiding something as large as a car. I know her dad hired a helicopter for the search back then, but technology's advanced a lot since the 70s. I can't help but wonder if there's more that could be done with today’s resources, like drones or updated satellite imagery. If only someone could take another look at those areas now—maybe set up a community search or something? It's been too long without answers.

I was looking through some old maps of the area between Missoula and Hamilton, wondering if there's anything that could've been missed all those years ago. Considering the terrain and how many back roads crisscross that region, it's easy to think a car could go unnoticed. Has anyone ever brought up the possibility of unsearched ravines or old logging roads? The area must have changed a lot since 1970, plus the seasonal weather could've buried tracks or vital clues. I can't stop thinking that if Dorothy did get into an accident, her car might still be somewhere people don't typically venture. It might be worth a community search effort if there's significant interest. Thoughts?

I recently stumbled upon Dorothy Geneva Freeman's case while diving into missing persons from the 1970s, and something that caught my attention was the sightings reported in southwestern Montana. I find it intriguing that these reports never led to any solid leads or breakthroughs in the case. Does anyone know how credible these sightings were? Were they just cases of mistaken identity, or could they have been missed opportunities to figure out what happened to her? It seems odd that there were multiple reports but nothing panned out. If anyone has details or remembers more about these sightings from local news archives or personal accounts, it would be interesting to hear about them!
