The situation over in Center Point with Patrick Carter Jr.'s case is deeply troubling. I'm feeling for his family and everyone touched by his loss right now. What's really baffling is the lack of any leads or suspects at this stage. It seems like the community is really tight-lipped or genuinely doesn't know what happened that night. I wonder if there's more to the location where he was found that might clue us into why he was targeted. Was this place known for anything specific? Could it just have been wrong place, wrong time? I also can't stop thinking about why there's no motive mentioned yet. A lot of us are holding out hope that someone will come forward with information soon. For those who might not be familiar, the 2300 block of 2nd Place NE is in a residential area that's usually pretty quiet.
