Have you all seen the reports about Kelley and James Thornton in the Coats Bend community? My heart goes out to their families and friends in this truly challenging time. Is anyone else struggling to understand why there hasn’t been more information released about potential suspects or motives yet? It seems like with the investigation involving both the Etowah County Sheriff's Office and experts from the Jacksonville State University Center for Applied Forensics, we’d have more to go on by now. I wonder if there’s some unknown aspect of their lives that complicates things—like a family disagreement or a neighborhood issue. It’s just so hard to process how something so tragic could happen to two individuals who were just at home doing what should have been a normal day. Let's hope their loved ones get answers and justice soon.
