Has anyone looked into hospital records from the area in Connecticut around the time Nelson Souza went missing? If he was seeking further treatment after surgery, there's a chance he might have tried to check into a medical facility. It seems odd given we don't have dental or DNA records; maybe there might be some way to track down some hospital records or admissions under his name? I know it may be a long shot, especially given how much time has passed, but perhaps it could offer new leads. Curious if anyone here has experience investigating old medical records for cases like this—would love to hear any advice or thoughts!

Hey everyone, I've been following Nelson Souza's case for a while now, and something that's really stuck with me is the lack of available records. It's shocking to think that back in the '70s, things like dental and DNA records weren't routinely kept or used in investigations. It makes me wonder how many other missing person cases from that era are in the same boat because they lack the identifiable information we'd have today. I know times were different, but it makes these older cases feel even more daunting to solve. If anyone knows more about how investigators dealt with this kind of hurdle back then or any similar cases, I’d love to hear your thoughts or anything you've come across.
