Has anyone else found it strange that Roger's body was found nude? It feels like there's got to be more to this story. The fact that Roger was strangled makes me wonder if the nudity was intentional as a means to humiliate or obscure evidence. The police reports don't seem to address why he might have been found this way, and it could be a big clue that’s being overlooked. It’s so frustrating that the case hasn't seen any real breakthroughs in all this time. I feel for his family; not having answers or justice must make this tragedy so much harder to bear. Could it be possible that this detail points to a specific motive, or even suggests a personal connection to the killer? I’m really curious to hear what others think about this aspect.
It's been almost five decades, and the case of Roger Edward Dickerson still lingers in the minds of many. I recently stumbled upon this case, and it just really struck me—how does a young Marine on the brink of his life’s journey end up murdered, and yet, no one knows why or who did it? It's haunting. That cliff in Laguna Beach where they found him must hold so many untold stories. I can’t help but think about what kind of person Roger was—brave enough to serve his country, probably with dreams and plans for the future. His family never got the answers they desperately needed. I genuinely hope there's still someone out there looking at this case, trying to piece everything together so his family might someday know the truth.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Roger Edward Dickerson's case and can't stop thinking about the location where his body was found. It's so unsettling that someone would be left in such an isolated area. Cliffs and dead-end roads aren't just places you stumble upon unless you really know the area or were brought there on purpose.
Does anyone local to Laguna Beach know if that spot is still as secluded today as it seemed back then? Maybe whoever did this knew those cliffs well, or had a car to get out of there quickly. It's a haunting thought, especially considering how young Roger was and the promising future he had in the Marines.
My heart truly goes out to his family and friends. They deserve answers and justice. If anyone has insights or theories about the location choice, it might help shed some light on this tragic mystery.
