Has anyone else been struck by how isolated the location was where Vincent Cruz Mestas was found? The fact that his body was in a ravine in the mountains just makes me think about what a terrifying end that must have been for him. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and confusion he must have felt in those final moments. For his family and friends, not knowing for so long who took their beloved Vincent away must have been unfathomably painful. Knowing that investigators have connected his murder to Randy Kraft, a man capable of such brutality, adds a layer of horror. Kraft's callousness in choosing such desolate sites, almost as if to ensure these young men would be forgotten, is just chilling. It’s crucial to remember these victims not just as names on a list, but as individuals with families who loved them dearly. My heart goes out to all who knew Vincent.
