Hey everyone,
I've been following David Manriquez's case for a while, and I can't stop thinking about the trauma his family must be enduring, knowing that the person responsible, Jonathan Romero, is still out there. It must be incredibly difficult for them not to have closure or justice after all these years.
I came across something recently that made me wonder about security in the area around where David was found. Given that the neighborhood searches still haven't led to Romero's capture, I'm curious if there were any surveillance cameras in operation at the time, either at nearby residences or businesses. It's 2008, so maybe cameras weren't as prevalent, but any footage from that morning could potentially reveal more about Romero's movements.
It just seems tragic that despite efforts and appeals, we’re still here more than a decade later. Hoping justice comes swiftly for this family someday.
Sending strength to David's loved ones.
Every time I think about young David Manriquez, it just pulls at my soul. An 18-year-old with his entire future ahead of him, crossing paths with such senseless violence – it's just so unfair. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through. It's like a living nightmare.
There's something that's been bugging me, though. How does someone just vanish into thin air like Jonathan Romero did? Even with all the details they have about him, it's like he just disappeared. I was looking into similar cases and saw how sometimes tips can come in years later. It only takes one person speaking up to crack a case wide open. I hope someone, somewhere, remembers something or finds the courage to come forward. Justice needs to be served for David and his family. They deserve some kind of peace. ?
Hey everyone,
I've been following David Manriquez's case for a while now, and something that sticks with me is how young both David and the suspect, Jonathan Romero, were at the time. It's so hard to fathom how a situation escalates to the point where lives are permanently changed at such a young age. I can't stop thinking about the immense loss for David's family and all his friends. David was just 18, with his whole life ahead of him.
It's frustrating to know that despite so many appeals for help, Romero is still out there, evading justice. I really hope someone comes forward with more information soon. It must be tough for investigators, but it seems even tougher for David's loved ones who are left without answers. I just felt the need to voice my support for them and to remind everyone to keep sharing any updates or tips related to this case. Justice for David and peace for his family are long overdue.
Stay safe out there. ?
