Hey, everyone. I've been thinking a lot about Nicholas Cleves and the impact of losing such a bright young mind. It's hard to wrap my head around the senselessness of it all. One detail that stands out to me is how Nicholas had just been running a simple errand, picking up avocados for his mom. It's such a relatable moment, you know? Just an ordinary day that took an unimaginable turn. I can't help but think about his family and how they must feel whenever they see a bike or go shopping, constantly reminded of the everyday moments that will never be the same for them. None of us should have to live in fear during our daily lives. My heart goes out to his loved ones, who are left to grapple with this void and the memories of a promising life that should've continued to grow and flourish.
I wanted to shed some light on a detail about Nicholas that really touched me. It’s about his love for linguistics and how he was taking courses in Italian just because he wanted to learn. This snippet of his life reminded me how amazing and curious he must have been. It’s those small details that show us who someone really was, you know?
It's heartbreaking to think he won’t ever get to explore Italy or speak the language with a local. As someone who's learning a new language myself, I can’t imagine not being able to continue that journey. It makes his loss feel even more personal, like losing a kindred spirit who shared a love for learning.
To all of Nicholas’s family and friends, my heart truly goes out to you. Nicholas's passion for life and learning will always be remembered. Sending love and strength your way.
