I've been reflecting on the aftermath for the families and those who knew the victims from the Black Road Auto shooting. It's difficult to wrap my mind around how life just changes forever in a moment. Bear in mind, people didn't just lose relatives, they lost their sense of safety and community trust. I can’t stop thinking about how Golden Eli David Duboise had just started working there and probably felt like he was turning a corner in life. It adds another layer of tragedy, thinking about the potential future he had ahead of him. Sending strength to the families and everyone affected all these years later. It’s tough knowing their pain is still very real. Does anyone have any insights on how the community has been coping over the years?
