Does anyone else feel a deep sense of empathy for Mary Ann Hunter in this case? I can’t imagine being 15 years old and having my life change so drastically in just a few moments. Surviving such a traumatic event while losing her parents is unimaginable. Not to mention the physical challenges she must face every day with her injuries. It’s infuriating to think about how senseless violence can impact so many lives—and for what? I really hope she has a strong support system around her now and that the community continues to rally behind her. It's crucial that we remember the human side of these tragedies and support the survivors who are left picking up the pieces. If anyone has reliable info on organizations or funds that might have been established to help Mary Ann or others affected, please share.
