On April 18, 2015, in Talkeetna, Alaska, 33-year-old Andre Lee LaFrance was fatally shot during an overnight incident. The Alaska State Troopers reported that LaFrance died at the scene, while the other individual involved, 57-year-old Billy Kidd of Willow, succumbed to his injuries later in an Anchorage hospital. Both men were identified shortly after the incident.
