Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the tragic events of February 3, 1983, in NYC, trying to make sense of everything that happened. Something that really haunts me is the lack of information about David Williams. We know he was a victim of gun violence on that day, but beyond that, it's like he just disappeared from the narrative. Several other people lost their lives to gun violence that day, but David's name isn't tied to the most publicized incident at the Hotel Belleclaire. It seems odd, given the number of homicides reported. I find myself wondering if his story got overshadowed by the mass shooting, or if he was a victim in a totally different, maybe even random, act of violence. I truly feel for David's loved ones. It must be so challenging not to have the full story—or public attention—around his death. It makes one wonder how many other stories are out there, untold and lost to time. Does anyone have more details or remember anything about other incidents from that day? As always, hope all involved find some peace. Stay safe, folks.

I came across David Williams' name while looking into the tragic events in NYC on February 3, 1983. It's so upsetting to see another life lost to gun violence without any clear answers or closure for his loved ones. There’s this lingering mystery surrounding his death because he wasn't listed as a victim in the infamous Hotel Belleclaire incident, which was so extensively covered. It's frustrating that there seems to be little information or public records specifically about his case. I just hope that, even after all these years, someone remembers David Williams and that those who cared about him find some peace. Does anyone have any more info or thoughts on cases like this where the victims seem to get lost in the chaos of bigger headlines?
