Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Esther Mae Gesler's case and something that's been on my mind is the blue Mercury station wagon. It's strange to me that her car was found abandoned in Auburn. If Esther was supposedly heading to the SeaTac area, which is quite a bit south of Auburn, why would her car end up there? It makes me wonder whether she ever intended to make it to SeaTac at all. Did someone else drive the car there to throw off investigators? With Bagley’s shady history, I’m surprised they didn’t find more evidence in the vehicle that could link someone to her disappearance. Also, does anyone know what the general traffic or route conditions were like back then? Was it common for people to somehow end up in a different town like that? This case keeps getting more puzzling the more details you uncover. Any insights would be appreciated!
