Has anyone else been digging into the Iris Leslie Brown case from the '70s? I can't get over the fact that her remains were never found, even after William Posey's confession in 2008. It makes me wonder about the investigation methods back in the day and if new technology or strategies could help now. With all the advancements in forensic techniques and ground-penetrating radar, I keep thinking there might still be a chance to locate her remains, especially near that stretch of Interstate 89. Maybe there's still hope to provide some closure to her family after all these years. Does anyone know if there have been any recent searches or if any local initiatives are ongoing to try to finally bring Iris home?

Does anyone else find it odd how long it took for William Posey to confess? I mean, in 1981, he was convicted of kidnapping, but it takes him until 2008 to admit to murder? That's 27 years! It's just curious to me—why hold onto that truth for so long? It's not like he'd be walking free anyway, but his admission clearly hasn't brought any resolution to Iris's family since they still don't have her remains. Based on previous cases, it seems unusual for a confession to take so long unless there's some kind of benefit to the person confessing. Maybe he thought it would help him in some way, or maybe there's more to uncover here. Thoughts?
