Iris Leslie Brown, 27, disappeared on March 15, 1976, after leaving her Burlington, Vermont, apartment with William John Posey Jr., a man recently released from prison. Posey claimed that Brown's boyfriend, Martin Gold, who was also incarcerated, was being released early and needed her to meet him in Connecticut. Iris never arrived at her destination and was never heard from again.
