Does anyone else feel like Eric's case might be getting overshadowed by the bigger picture of the Atlanta Child Murders? I can't stop thinking about how he was just 14, and had courageously testified against those juveniles not long before he was killed. It's frustrating and deeply saddening that, despite the bigger investigation, no one has been held accountable for his murder specifically. I wonder if his role in testifying had more to do with his murder than it's been given attention for. It's important to keep discussing each victim individually, to seek justice for Eric and provide some semblance of peace to his family and friends. Each life lost deserves our attention and effort, no matter how many years have passed. I hope one day answers come to light for Eric and all the victims who never got to see justice served.
