Has anyone noticed how chilling it is that this all started because of a hitchhiking encounter? It's terrifying to think that Frank Powe, just trying to get a ride, ended up crossing paths with someone so dangerous. Hitchhiking was more common back then, and it's a reminder of how quickly things can turn bad when you least expect it. I keep thinking of Frank's family—one moment he's there and the next he's gone, all because he ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. People really need to be careful, even now, about the risks involved in getting into a stranger's vehicle. Powe's story is haunting, and it underscores the importance of being cautious. My thoughts are with Frank's loved ones. It's so sad they had to lose him this way.
