I can't stop thinking about Tammy Sue Lynn Passineau's little boy. How tragic to grow up without his mother, knowing she was taken in such a horrific way. I read that she was a transient and had a tough life, struggling with mental illness and moving around often. It must have been so hard for her to manage everything, let alone try to raise a child on her own. Her family must have been absolutely devastated when they realized something was wrong, especially after waiting a month to report her missing. It’s chilling that her remains were never found, leaving a void and unanswered questions for those who loved her. It's just so unfair that someone with such a promising life like hers, and her child, had that ripped away. My thoughts are with them.

I've been thinking about the broader implications of Wiley's release before Tammy's disappearance. It's incredibly disturbing how someone with such a violent past, including prior sexual assaults and attempted murder, managed to get out and end up back in society. The system clearly failed Tammy and the other women, allowing this predator the opportunity he should have never had. It's really difficult to comprehend how someone with that history was monitored so loosely. My heart aches for Tammy's family, especially for her little boy who had to grow up without knowing his mom because of a preventable tragedy. It really makes you wonder what measures should be in place to prevent similar situations in the future. How can we hold the system accountable to ensure that individuals with such dangerous histories aren't given the freedom to harm more people? It’s a difficult conversation, but one that needs to happen if we’re going to protect future potential victims.
