Hey everyone, I was digging through some old articles about Michael James DeMaria and came across something curious. Seems like there were a few neighbors who reported seeing a strange white van parked outside his apartment building the morning he disappeared. I know it's not much, but considering the time period and how common unmarked vans were back then, maybe it’s something that got overlooked? It got me wondering if it could have been related. Has anyone else heard about this or have more info on whether it was followed up on at the time? It just seems odd, especially with so little else to go on after all these years. Maybe collective memories or sightings could provide something new to investigate. Thoughts?

I've been diving into the Michael DeMaria case, and something stuck out to me about the timeline of October 14, 1976. I read that he was last seen leaving his apartment building, but I couldn't find any information about who saw him last or if there were any witnesses around that time. It's odd how there seems to be such a blank space around his last known movements. In so many missing person cases, it's the little details from that last day that can open up new leads. Does anyone know if any neighbors or building staff were ever interviewed? Or was there any CCTV footage back then, or is that just wishful thinking for the '70s? It just seems like there might be something buried in the normalcy of his last day that could offer new insights.
