I've been following the tragic case of Robin West, and one detail I keep thinking about is how she was so close to her 20th birthday. Imagine the excitement of turning 20 and what that milestone means for so many young people. It must have been an especially emotional and difficult time for Robin's family, not just dealing with her disappearance but also the loss of the future celebrations they were hoping to share with her. The grief they felt, compounded by Robin's struggles with mental health, must have been incredibly overwhelming. It's deeply upsetting to see how Khalil Wheeler-Weaver thought he could erase Robin’s life without it impacting those who loved her. I'm thankful that the investigators were able to piece together his actions—but it never feels like enough when thinking about the beautiful life that was cruelly stolen. Anyone else feels the same way? How do families find any form of peace or healing after something like this?
