I recently came across the tragic story of Susan Marie "Suzi" Wolf, and it's just so difficult to wrap my head around the senseless violence she endured. After just moving to Houston, having her life cut short in such a horrific manner is absolutely devastating. I can't imagine the terror she must have felt or the pain her family continues to endure. It's chilling to think about how close in time and location her attack was to Elizabeth Montgomery's. That pattern of violence is so disturbing, especially knowing it was all linked to Coral Eugene Watts. It's infuriating how someone with such a deep-seated hatred for women could inflict so much pain and fear. I'm curious about the Houston community around that time. Were there any warning signs or suspicions among locals before Watts was caught? It must have been a terrifying environment for women in the area. My heart goes out to Susan’s family and everyone affected by this horrific series of events. They deserve all the support and justice this world can offer.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbors in Susan Wolf’s apartment complex. I can't even imagine the fear and trauma that must have gripped that community after her murder. To have something so horrific happen right on your doorstep must have been terrifying. It's hard enough to be vulnerable in your own home, let alone knowing a violent killer was in the area. For those who lived near Suzi, every noise or shadow must have been a cause for alarm until Watts was caught. It makes me wonder how long it took for people to feel safe again and how crucial community support must have been for Susan’s friends and neighbors during that time. I really admire how communities like theirs come together in times of crisis, despite facing such stark fears. If anyone here lived in the area back then, or if you have insights on how the neighborhood coped, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
