I've been following the case of Helen Mae Dutcher, and I recently came across something intriguing about the eyewitness, Joseph Foy. It's astonishing to think about the level of courage it must have taken for him to step forward, not once, but twice—especially after so many years had passed. He could've easily stayed silent after all that time, but he didn't. His persistence was crucial in bringing about justice for Helen and her family. Imagine seeing something so traumatic and having it weigh on you for decades, only to then recognize the attacker on television years later. It's a reminder of how pivotal witnesses can be in cases like these, especially when justice seems so far out of reach. My heart goes out to Foy, along with Helen's family, for what they have endured all these years.
