Does anyone else find it strange that the Blocks may have been spotted at an airstrip near Lansing but didn't refuel? I mean, John was an experienced pilot, and you'd think refueling would be a no-brainer given the uncertainty of the weather that day. I'm curious if there were any issues with fuel availability at the time or if maybe they were in a hurry to beat the storm. Also, I wonder if there’s a possibility that whatever happened in Lansing could hint at a change in their original plan. Maybe they decided to divert due to weather, but something else went wrong along the way? It's been decades, but small details like this might help reframe what happened that day. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this!
