Has anyone else been following the unsettling details of Tracy Martin’s case, specifically the locations where her body and others were found? It's devastating to think about what those women went through, but also chilling to consider the choice of locations by Darren Deon Vann. The abandoned house on 2200 Massachusetts Street and similar sites where the victims were found paint a grim picture. It seems pretty calculated, as if he knew these places wouldn’t draw attention for a long time. This just adds a whole other layer of tragedy to these crimes. I keep thinking about the families and how they might feel knowing their loved ones were left in such isolating places. It must be some small comfort that Vann's conviction brings them a bit of justice, but the sorrow of what he did and where he left these women is just harrowing. Does anyone else think that choosing these specific locations was his way of ensuring he could get away with it longer, or was it just opportunistic? My heart goes out to Tracy's family and all the others affected by this horror.
