Has anyone else been struck by the sheer brutality of the method used in these attacks? It's incredibly distressing to think about what Mr. Golston—and the other victims—had to suffer in the last moments of their lives. The use of items like claw hammers and tire jacks shows a chilling level of opportunism and a total lack of empathy from this perpetrator. It’s deeply unsettling how a simple tool, meant for repair and construction, became a weapon of violence and destruction in an innocent person’s home. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and pain Charles went through during that horrific burglary. It’s truly a shame that an elderly man, who likely should have been focused on enjoying his later years, fell victim to such senseless violence. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have had to endure not just the loss but the brutal nature of it. I hope they find some solace in knowing that justice is being pursued.
