Was anyone else struck by how Diane's case seemed to have fallen through the cracks for so many years? It's incredibly unsettling to think about how her family had to endure such a long period without answers. It's one thing to lose a loved one, but not having closure or knowing who was responsible must have compounded their pain. The fact that it took advancements in forensic technology to link Turner to Diane’s murder is both a relief and a point of frustration—relief that it eventually happened, but frustrating that it couldn't have come sooner. I hope this case, despite the horror of it, can provide some hope for families still waiting for justice. Does anyone know if her family has spoken publicly about their journey since Turner’s conviction? It’d be heartening to hear how they’ve been coping in the years since her murder was finally solved.
